I added some MP3 clips on the Cover Tunes post below. If someone out there can test it and let me know if they run into any problems, that'd be super.

Works fine. Now where's my Streisand, you bastard????
Don't give me that ... besides, you know you have the complete Babs collection at home and at work anyways.
Was a little gloopy for the first 1-1.5 seconds on this institutional Dell/Win2K with lotsa bandwitdth. Gotta be at least a 100mz bus, too... but once the clip loaded, no skips at all.
You might put up SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER from the original PRODUCERS soundtrack (1968). And Mr. Streisand missed ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER - what up wit dat? How about WHERE IS IT WRITTEN? from "Yentl"?? Huh? And what about STARTING HERE, STARTING NOW from "Color Me Barbra" (1966)???????
And how could you miss her cover of GOONS OF HAZZARD (DK's, "Frankenchrist")... oh, she didn't do that one. Sorry. Lost my mind for a minute.
Pete, the day you ever FIND your mind, the world will be a safer place for it.
Who's Pete? My name is Barbra.
In other news, it's appropriate for the season to revisit this gem from MAD Magazine, circa 1973:
FILL THE BARS WITH CHRISTMAS DRINKING
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
SEE THE PEOPLE GETTING STINKING
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
THOUGH THEIR BRAINS ARE HALF CORRODED
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
STILL THEY'LL TRY TO DRIVE HOME LOADED
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
SEE THE BUSY INTERSECTION
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
HERE COME CARS FROM EACH DIRECTION
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
SEE THE PILE-UP WHEN THEY'RE MEETING
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
WHAT A NOVEL CHRISTMAS GREETING!
FA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA
I'd think up something derogatory to say, but it would only involve the pot calling the kettle black.
